About

I’m a postdoctoral researcher specialising in early modern history — particularly 17th- and 18th-century French history. I am interested in the history of emotions, religious history, the history of childhood, women’s history, and early modern travel and life-writing.

I am currently based at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, where I hold a Fondation Wiener-Anspach Postdoctoral Fellowship.

Previously, I was at the University of Tokyo, where I was funded by a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Postdoctoral Fellowship.

I recently completed my DPhil (PhD) at Jesus College, University of Oxford, which was funded by the UK’s Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), via their Open-Oxford-Cambridge Doctoral Training Partnership programme.
